Job Description
Auto Zone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! customer service, ensuring that customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain well‑stocked inventory, assist customers with product selection, and provide expert advice to enhance the shopping experience. They play a vital role in driving sales, maintaining store operations, and fostering a positive, knowledgeable retail environment.
As a Delivery Driver, you’ll put your safe driving skills to work and enjoy career stability with endless growth opportunities. No Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required, and you’ll use company‑provided vehicles.
Responsibilities- Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice.
- Collaborate closely with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth teamwork and strong customer relationships.
- Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
- Drive company‑provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers. Load and unload parts accurately per route schedules.
- Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
- Adhere to PPE guidelines and fleet safety policies to maintain a safe driving and working environment.
- Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
- Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through Auto Zone systems. Maintain delivery vehicles and report any issues promptly.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license and adherence to Auto Zone’s driver safety requirements.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Full‑time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement is a plus.
