Assignment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $100-110K

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP.
• Compile and analyze financial data for internal and external reporting needs.
• Perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Work with large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
• Build and utilize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis.
• Translate raw data into meaningful accounting analysis and reporting.
• Leverage data visualization and automation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, and/or Power Query to streamline processes.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Bring multiple years of experience in an operational accounting role, excluding accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and thrive in environments with ongoing opportunities for process enhancements and efficiencies.

• 6+ years of experience on an operational accounting team outside of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• BS in Accounting or Finance (higher education preferred)
• Comfortable analyzing large, complex datasets to uncover trends, exceptions, and actionable insights.
• Proficient in writing and using SQL queries for data extraction, reconciliation, and validation.
• Able to convert raw data into clear, meaningful accounting insights and analysis.
• Experienced in data preparation and automation, with exposure to tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, and/or Power Query.
