The Senior Automotive Technician / Mechanic is responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while adhering to MAP guidelines and dealership, manufacturer, and company standards.

COMPENSATION:
Up to $45 Flat Rate

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose vehicles according to appropriate level of certifications/experience.
• Perform work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals (e.g., Store Manager, Service Consultants, customers).
• Recommend services necessary to keep customer’s vehicle running; properly document all recommendations in customer file.
• Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintain appropriate ASE certifications and renew expiring certifications.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer a minimum of one active ASE or equivalent experience or training.
• Possess valid driver’s license, or obtain a valid Virginia driver’s license within 30 days of hire date.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
