Position: Spring Break Counselor

We are seeking energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic Camp Counselors to join our Wild Explorers Spring Break Camp team. This outdoor focused camp encourages campers and staff alike to explore nature, stay active, and learn through hands-on adventure. If you enjoy working with kids, being outside rain or shine, and leading games and activities, this position is perfect for you.

Spring Camp will take place from March 30 – April 3, 2026. Mandatory training will take place on March 25th in person. Staff are also expected to complete online training prior to meeting in person.

Supervise and engage campers during indoor and outdoor activities, games, and nature-based exploration.

Help lead structured activities such as group games, park walks, creative outdoor play, and team challenges.

Support campers throughout the day, ensuring safety, inclusion, and positive behavior.

Assist with transitions between activities, snack/lunch times, and clean up.

Communicate respectfully with fellow staff and follow directions from Camp Leads.

Model positive attitude, behavior, and a willingness to participate in all activities.

Follow all camp rules, safety guidelines, and staff instructions.

Be comfortable spending most of the day outdoors and pack appropriate weather clothing each day, especially for field trips.

Must be at least 16 years old and attending or have graduated high school or equivalent.

Experience working with children.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to create a nurturing, positive environment for young children.
Additional Desirable

Qualification:

Enjoyment of outdoor activities and active play.

All candidates must pass a background check.
