About the PositionThe adjunct applied Musical Theater Voice professor will teach individualized lessons, starting January 2026.
Responsibilities- Teach Applied Musical Theater Voice lessons;
- Provide weekly studio class;
- Participate in recruitment for the Musical Theater Voice Studio;
- Adjudicate Musical Theater Voice Juries;
- Participate in Musical Theater initiatives.
- Master’s Degree in Music or equivalent professional experience;
- Successful experience teaching at the college level;
- An established reputation as a professional artist with a documented portfolio of live performances.
- Successful experience teaching vocal techniques for musical theater styles;
- Piano skills sufficient for accompanying voice students in lessons;
- Experience teaching students to build technical proficiency and repertoire across the genre;
- Demonstrated ability working with a diverse population of artists, students, faculty, staff, and community members.
