Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon Overview
Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) outpatient Orthopedic Clinic is seeking to hire an Orthopedic Surgeon. We are preferably looking for someone with experience in lower extremity deformity and, optionally, spine.

This individual will be responsible for the clinical management of infants, children, and teens with musculoskeletal conditions and injuries such as common foot and leg problems, acute injuries, congenital deformities and disorders, limb amputations, orthopedic birth defects, physical disabilities, scoliosis, fractures, sprains, soft‑tissue injuries, and a variety of other conditions. The role also includes treatment of early‑onset scoliosis through casting and Magnetically Controlled Growth Rod (MAGEC), minimally invasive orthopedic surgery, and pre‑participation examinations for young athletes in sports programs.
Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV) Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine pediatric surgeons work closely with a comprehensive medical team specialized in treating infants, children, and teens with musculoskeletal and bone conditions and injuries. Our pediatric focus gives us the expertise to treat the unique challenges children face as their bones and muscles are still growing. The team’s goal is to help patients maximize their abilities, whether that’s returning to sport or simply enjoying being a kid.
Job Description- Diagnose, treat, and manage muscle, skeletal, or bone conditions.
- Order or perform medical diagnostic or clinical tests.
- Write routine orders for appropriate laboratory studies, X‑rays, and consultations.
- Perform and record history and physical examinations.
- Evaluate treatment options and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform surgical or noninvasive procedures and create postoperative‑care plans.
- Must hold or be eligible to apply for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Virginia and District of Columbia.
- Board‑Certified/Board‑Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
