Infectious Disease Physician

Infectious Disease Consultants, PLC is an Eight Physician single specialty private practice in Northern Virginia just a short drive to Washington, DC.

The group formed in 1996 and we continue to expand and grow.

Our group attends at three of the Inova Health System hospitals including the almost 1000 bed tertiary referral Fairfax Hospital.

We have a busy inpatient service which encompasses all aspects of infectious diseases.

We also have a busy outpatient office practice including in-office infusions, Traveler's clinic and opportunities for wound care.

Our physicians typically spend 2-3 half-days per week seeing office patients. The remainder of their time is spent rounding on our inpatient hospital service.

We also have teaching opportunities with the residents from the Inova Podiatry residency program.

We are seeking a Full-Time Infectious Disease Physician who has completed an Accredited Fellowship in Infectious Diseases.

The applicant must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases.

We offer a competitive salary with a 3-year track to Partnership. Currently, all of our physicians are Partners/Owners of the Practice.

Physicians have an equitable call schedule and typically will be on weekend call one weekend per month.
