Position Overview:

Bach To Rock (“B2R”) America’s Music School for students of all ages is seeking a part-time Music Teacher to provide music and performance lessons. Teachers will use B2R curriculum to deliver inspiring and balanced music education, focusing on theory, technique, and engaging students with familiar music. Our goal is to develop musicians who enjoy performing, recording, and composing.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching private and semi-private lessons using Bach to Rock curriculum and cover song arrangements.
• Creating an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson environment.
• Assessing students’ readiness for band or ensemble participation.
• Assisting at school events.
• Performing equipment repairs as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of music concepts and effective communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of music theory and technique relevant to the primary instrument.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse personalities.
• Experience as a performer (solo or group).
• Experience working with youth or beginner musicians.
• Effective interaction with children and adults.
• Ability to pass a background check.

We offer flexible part-time schedules, a supportive environment, and handle marketing, scheduling, billing, and other business aspects, allowing you to focus on teaching. Compensation is hourly, based on education, experience, and availability.
