At NASK, we’re growing, building great teams, and doing exciting work. As a Senior DSP Engineer, you will provide state-of-the-art capabilities to the DOD and IC. You should have a strong DSP background with a proven history of developing and maturing advanced algorithm solutions from proof-of-concept to operational systems, experience working on real-time Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems, and an extensive software development background.
- 5+ years of work experience developing engineering solutions to collect, process, and exploit RF signals
- Extensive knowledge of communications and/or radar signal processing techniques, including detection, estimation, matched filtering, waveform design, and feature extraction
- Proficient in C/C++
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Systems development experience within the Intelligence and Defense communities
- Familiarity with Code Management (e.g. Git)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- B.S. or higher (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Knowledge of SDR
- Python, MATLAB, Octave
- Geolocation theory and techniques
- Working in complex RF environments
- Knowledge of multi-threaded signal processing algorithms in Python/C++ on Linux hosts
- Comfortable working in distributed team environments
