Work Environment
- Location:
Mark Center (Primary), Pentagon - Travel: 20% for site visits and stakeholder meetings
- Security:
Secret clearance required for comprehensive facility access
- Support master planning and land use management initiatives
- Conduct environmental feasibility studies for facility improvements
- Develop climate resilience and adaptation strategies
- Support NEPA compliance for major construction projects
- Analyze environmental impacts of proposed facility changes
- Coordinate with architectural and engineering teams
- Develop sustainability metrics and reporting frameworks
- 8-12 years environmental planning and sustainability experience
- Climate resilience and adaptation planning experience
- NEPA compliance experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Urban Planning, or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) certification preferred
- LEED Accredited Professional preferred
- Envision Sustainability Professional preferred
- Strong background in environmental impact assessment
- Knowledge of NEPA process and documentation requirements
- Experience with climate change adaptation planning
- GIS and spatial analysis capabilities
- Understanding of sustainable design principles
- Project management and stakeholder coordination skills
