• Lead all aspects of performance contracting projects from conception to completion, serving as the primary point of contact throughout each phase.
• Introduce and explain performance contracting to potential clients, identifying opportunities where CMTA’s solutions deliver long‑term value.
• Articulate CMTA’s unique value proposition in technical and financial terms, reinforcing our competitive advantage.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business, referrals, and long‑term partnerships.
• Participate in business development efforts, including client meetings, industry events, and proposal development.
• Lead the development phase, conducting site visits, audits, and energy calculations.
• Direct the engineering design team in producing drawings and specifications.
• Oversee the bidding process to ensure quality and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with the client to finalize the performance contract.
• Work with the construction manager to ensure a smooth construction period.
• Direct the commissioning process to validate performance.
• Support the client through the warranty phase as needed.
• Work with our Measurement & Verification (M&V) professional to develop the first‑year M&V report.
• Demonstrate knowledge of state‑specific K‑12 design‑build procurement processes, ensuring alignment with state and district requirements.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with an Energy Services company or a consulting engineering/commissioning firm.
• Undergraduate degree in engineering from an ABET‑accredited university.
