Fairfax, VA (onsite) – Senior Level – Full‑time

Responsibilities
  • Lead medium to large electrical design projects and direct junior‑level engineers.
  • Collaborate with clients, design team, and contractors.
  • Develop fee proposals and manage project budgets.
Technical Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • 16+ years of progressive experience, including experience in a Lead Engineer role on mission‑critical and/or data‑center projects.
  • Design experience with: one‑line diagrams; UPS systems; generators; medium‑voltage switch gear; static transfer switches; SCADA systems and automated operations for critical equipment; various electrical design topologies (Tier III, Tier IV, N+1, 2N).
  • Compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NFPA, Uptime Institute, ANSI/TIA‑942).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent reputation as an engineering professional.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to mentor and train younger engineering staff.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, government TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Skills
  • Proficiency in ETAP or SKM.
  • Experience with Revit in the design of complex power systems in raised‑floor environments.
