** The Opportunity
** We're supporting a highly respected technology organization delivering critical solutions across the US Intelligence and National Security community.

As part of a senior-level networking team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting highly secure, mission-essential network infrastructure supporting multiple intelligence programs. The environment demands exceptional levels of availability, fault tolerance and performance, providing the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects that have a direct operational impact.

This is not a network operations role. You'll be involved in architecture, engineering, implementation and ongoing enhancement of complex networking environments across data centre, transport and enterprise infrastructure layers.
** What You'll Be Doing
*** Designing and implementing secure enterprise network solutions
* Supporting large-scale mission-critical network infrastructure
* Engineering and maintaining routing, switching and transport environments
* Troubleshooting complex network performance and connectivity issues
* Supporting data centre and wide-area network environments
* Working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to develop technical solutions
* Contributing to network architecture, design reviews and infrastructure improvements
* Providing technical leadership within your area of expertise
** What We're Looking For
*** 7+ years of network engineering experience
* Strong experience with Juniper networking technologies preferred
* Cisco networking experience also considered
* Experience designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise networks
* Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and associated protocols
* Experience with routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP and BGP
* Experience with LAN, WAN and network security technologies
* Experience with firewalls, ACLs and secure network architectures
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills and ability to work within highly collaborative engineering teams
** Desirable Experience
*** Juniper certifications (JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE)
* Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP)
* EVPN, VXLAN or MPLS environments
* Multicast networking
* VLANs, trunking and spanning tree
* Bash, Python or other scripting languages
* Linux or BSD administration experience
* Experience presenting technical solutions to customers and stakeholders
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required
