Work Environment- Location:
Pentagon (Primary), Mark Center, RRMC - Travel:
Variable based on emergency response needs - Security:
Secret clearance required for all facility emergency access - Schedule:
On-call rotation for 24/7 emergency response
- Lead environmental emergency response coordination
- Support CBRN attack recovery and decontamination efforts
- Interface with Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA)
- Develop emergency response plans and procedures
- Conduct emergency response training and exercises
- Manage environmental aspects of incident command operations
- Coordinate with external emergency response agencies
- 8-15 years emergency response and environmental remediation experience
- CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) incident experience preferred
- Federal facility emergency response experience
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Emergency Management, or related field
- CBRN training and certification
- Incident Command System (ICS) certification
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required
- First Aid/CPR certification required
- Extensive knowledge of emergency response procedures
- Experience with CBRN incident management
- Understanding of Incident Command System (ICS)
- Strong crisis management and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work under high-stress conditions
- 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies
