Inova Cares for Families (ICF) provides comprehensive primary care services to patients who reflect the culturally diverse community we serve. Our clinics serve as medical homes for patients of all ages who qualify for Medicaid, FAMIS, Inova s Financial Assistance Program, or are uninsured. Applicants may be considered for current and future opportunities including full time, part time and PRN positions.

Job Responsibilities
Adult Services
- Regular physicals, ongoing health maintenance and check-ups (e.g. routine bloodwork, prescription refills, vaccinations, health screenings)
- Patient education and counseling for disease prevention
- Chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol)
- Care coordination for specialist referrals and other medical services
- Nurse case management
- Behavioral health services (e.g. depression, anxiety)
Children Services
- Well Child Visits
- Sick Child Visits
- Physicals - School and sports
- Home Tomorrow Visits for recently discharged newborns with bilirubin check
- Childhood immunizations - as recommended by current clinical guidelines
- Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Prior experience required.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start
- Licensure: Unrestricted VA Medical License or ability to obtain
- Payor Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
- Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
- 2-3 years of experience in Community Health
