Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a dedicated Neurodiagnostic Tech 2 to join the team. This role will be Full-time (3) 12-hour shifts.

- Schedules appointments, greets patients/families and provides testing instructions.
- Assists in monitoring quality improvement and the development/revision of Neurodiagnostic procedures and standards while serving as a role model/resource to Neurodiagnostic Technologist.
- Performs complex electroencephalography (EEG) recordings including routine and/or portable EEG, neonatal EEG, cortical silence EEG and continuous bedside EEG monitoring by utilizing knowledge of EEG instrumentation and pattern recognition.
- Positions patients/provides patients comfort by measuring and accurately applying electrodes in a timely manner according to the International 10-20 System.
- Certification - Basic Life Support;
Successful completion of Board examination and obtaining credential a Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG.T) is required - Licensure - None required
- Experience - 3 years of experience in the Neurodiagnostic or a Neurophysiological field;
Experience performing advanced EEG/evoked potential studies - Education - High School or GED Graduate from an accredited program for Electroneuro diagnostic Technology. Registry as a Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG.T) is required
