PositionPart‑time Speech Language Pathologist – clinic based in Fairfax, VA. Part‑time and full‑time caseloads are available.
Job Responsibilities- Conduct developmental screening/assessment, speech therapy services, and consult with family members and other professionals.
- Educate family members and caregivers on different intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry‑over in community settings.
- Work in clinic‑based settings.
- Follow the Individualized Service Plan, plan ongoing treatment, and interpret goals and treatment plans to parents; recommend further developmental assessments as needed.
- Participate in monthly agency staff meetings.
- Prepare progress reports at six‑month intervals and annual reviews.
- Maintain client records and submit them to the agency within established deadlines.
- Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor within scope of work.
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- 1–2 years of experience working with children birth to 21; new graduate training is welcomed.
- Must possess a VA state license to practice Speech Therapy.
- Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases (driving personal vehicle, walking, public transportation).
- Ability to climb and descend staircases.
- Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
- Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/or crawl for extended periods.
Compensation:
Part‑time hourly up to $85, depending on experience; $2,000 sign‑on bonus included.
