Occupational Therapist – Fairfax

Job SummaryJoin a team of passionate therapists providing excellent pediatric therapy to children throughout the United States. Achieve Beyond was founded in 1995 and continuously grows to meet the needs of developmentally disabled children through ABA, speech, occupational, and physical therapy. We offer services in the entire metro New York area, Hudson Valley, Long Island, Albany, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, and the Virginia/Maryland/DC area.
We specialize in initial evaluations and ongoing services in home, community, and clinic settings, centered around collaboration and support to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Training and use of our paperless billing and data collection system
- Full practice management: intake, staffing, billing, tracking authorizations, insurance correspondence, and maintenance of certifications so you can focus on providing the best services
- Access to continuing education workshops and trainings (ASHA and BACB ACE provider)
- Team‑building meetings, events, and trainings
- Conduct developmental screening/assessment and provide occupational therapy services and consultation with family members and other professionals.
- Educate family members and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry‑over in community settings.
- Work in clinic‑based settings.
- Follow Individualized Service Plans, plan ongoing treatment, interpret goals, and recommend further assessments as needed.
- Prepare progress reports every six months and annual reviews.
- Maintain client records and submit them to the agency within established deadlines.
- Other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of work.
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- 1–2 years of experience working in pediatrics preferred, but open to training new graduates who can work independently within established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines.
- Must possess a Virginia state license to practice Occupational Therapy.
- Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including driving or using public transportation.
- Ability to climb and descend staircases.
- Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
- Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, and/or crawl for extended periods.
Compensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
