Divine Homes Healthcare Services LLC is looking for compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join their team in Fairfax, VA! In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalized care and support. Multiple shifts are available, offering flexibility to fit your schedule.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Support individuals in community integration, social activities, and recreational outings
- Administer medications and document care accurately in compliance with care plans
- Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and behavioral support strategies
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client progress
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment for all residents
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience as a DSP, caregiver, CNA, or in a related healthcare or human services role preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to pass a background check and meet state compliance requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach
- Availability to work multiple shifts, including evenings, weekends, or overnight as needed
