Travel Ultrasound Technologist​/Sonographer - Sonography​/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with at least 1 year of pediatric sonography experience and ARDMS certification.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in pediatric sonography
• Extensive understanding of congenital and unusual forms of non-congenital heart disease required
• BLS and ARDMS certification required
• Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography preferred
• Fetal echo experience encouraged
• Adult echo experience a plus
• Epic experience required
• License required if applicable

• Covers NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU units
• Performs echo cardiographic studies across fetal congenital (22+ weeks), pediatric heart disease, and adult congenital echocardiography
• 4 scanners available
• Uses Philips equipment with Epic EMR and PACS Fuji CV Synapse
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements
• Occasional floating to Inova Fairfax Hospital campus
• Responsibilities include recognizing and triaging emergent situations
• Provides written communication to cardiologists
• Maintains equipment and handles logging and billing of procedures
• 1-2 week orientation provided
• Scrub color is Caribbean Blue
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate with a 50-mile radius rule
• Former permanent employees may return 12 months after their last shift worked
