This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

• Dev Ops Implementation:
  Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub, and AWS Code Pipeline to automate deployment and integration processes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  Utilize tools like Terraform and AWS Cloud Formation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Cloud Networking:
  Design and manage cloud networking solutions using Amazon VPC, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity across AWS services and on-premises systems.
• Monitoring and Logging:
  Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Amazon Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, and Splunk to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Security and Compliance:
  Collaborate with security teams to implement best practices for AWS security, including IAM roles, Security Groups, and AWS WAF configurations.
• Performance Optimization:
  Analyze system performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and reduce latency across the cloud infrastructure.
• Collaboration and Support:
  Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and support for the PECOS system in the AWS environment.
• Documentation and Training:
  Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Dev Ops processes and network configurations; provide training and support to team members on best practices and new technologies.

• 5 plus years of experience with AWS migration, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Dev Ops Engineer or Network Engineer, with a strong understanding of cloud environments, particularly AWS.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS Cloud Formation.
• Experience with networking concepts and cloud networking solutions, including VPC, VPN, and Direct Connect.
• Familiarity with Java-based applications and related technologies such as Java 8, Struts, and Oracle databases.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer or equivalent certification is preferred.
