Education
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent Clearance
* Top Secret clearance preferred
* Willing to consider highly qualified candidates without a clearance
Position Overview Work in a fast-paced environment to assist in migration and deployment of applications in an on-prem cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting application developers with deployments
* Standing up common services
* Recommending solutions for efficient hardware resource utilization
* Familiarity and experience with Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) tools and software is expected Technical Requirements
* Experience with container technologies:
* Docker, Kubernetes, containerd, etc.
* Experience with application deployment using CI/CD tools:
* Git Lab, Jenkins, etc.
* Experience with monitoring tools:
* Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
* Experience with storage provisioning:
* OpenEBS, Gluster, etc.
* Including data backup and restore
* Experience with Linux (CentOS desired)
* Proficiency in multiple programming languages (both dynamic and compiled)
* Experience building automation tools for repetitive tasks
* Experience with metrics platforms (e.g., Elastic) Desired Skills
* Knowledge of microservices architecture and design
* Experience working in a collaborative, agile environment supporting rapidly changing requirements
