IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst
Job Description
ECS is seeking a Project Manager to work remotely
. Please Note:
This position is contingent upon additional funding.
This position identifies project goals, objectives and scope, and creates project plan/documentation that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required. Communicates with the project team and stakeholders, manages risks and issues, and monitors progress to ensure that the project stays on track. Provides reporting to upper management regarding status of the project.
Roles Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate multiple projects to ensure projects are completed on‑time
- Organize and plan project tasks and schedules
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants
- Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure projects are completed successfully
- Delegate work to team members based on skill and expertise
- Create presentations and reports to communicate project status
- Address questions and concerns throughout the project
- Keep application development team focused on the tasks needed to support the end goal
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and decompose high‑level information into details
- Work with functional leads to transform and develop new requirements into designs and implementation
- Develop, maintain, and perform processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity in platform applications
- Create and maintain workflows, approval processes, and validation rules based on internal stakeholder requirements
Salary Range: $140,000 – $160,000
General Description of Benefits Required Skills- Bachelor’s degree in project management, computer science, information technology, or related fields, preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management
- Understanding of data aggregation
- Understanding of Cloud computing terminology
- Understanding of main Cloud providers (AWS, Azure (preferred), Google Cloud)
- Understanding of Cloud security risks, compliance, and scalability
- Understanding of Data Governance
- Understanding of deployment modules (public, private, hybrid)
- Experience with Software development lifecycle, Agile Project Management using Version One software
- Proficient in managing cross functional teams
- Proven working experience in project management
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent client‑facing and internal communications skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, which includes Visio and Team
- Experience with project management software tools
- Able to work independently
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
