Position: Systems Engineer with Security Clearance

Credence is seeking a System Engineer to support DLA's PIEE Program Management Office and ensure that IT operations run smoothly on a day-to-day basis Responsibilities:
* Lead evaluation and assessment of emerging AI/ML technologies and cloud-based platforms (AWS)

* Develop technology strategy and roadmaps for AI/ML tool integration and deployment

* Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Cyber, Operations, Development) on technology requirements and implementations

* Manage security, compliance, and authorization (Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include Authority to Operate (ATO)) processes for new technology deployments

* Conduct research and proof-of-concept (PoC) testing for emerging technologies and platforms

* Prepare technical documentation, whitepapers, and briefings for executive leadership

* Collaborate on cloud infrastructure planning and optimization (AWS Bedrock, Open Search, Postgres, etc.)

* Support program-level planning and strategic alignment with stakeholder objectives

* Evaluate vendor solutions and third-party tools for integration with government systems

* Maintain technical documentation and configuration standards for approved technologies

* Support Agile teams in adoption of new tools and technologies

* Brief leadership on technology initiatives, roadmaps, and strategic recommendations Requirements
* Must posses a NACLC level clearance at a minimum

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field

* 3+ years of hands-on systems engineering experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

* Demonstrated experience evaluating and implementing AI/ML technologies and tools

* Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containerization, and Dev Sec Ops  practice

* Experience with government security, compliance, and ATO processes (IT-II, Secret clearance environments)

* Strong technical writing and ability to prepare documentation, whitepapers, and executive briefings

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audience

* Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

* Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred; security or AI/ML certifications a plus
