Job Description HII Mission Technolgoies is seeking a skilled Test Team Quality Engineer to support our customer in Falls Church, VA. The ideal candidate will manage test teams, execute test plans, analyze data and collaborate with cross-functinal teams to drive continuous improvement. This position is contingent upon contract award. Essential
Job Responsibilities
* Responsible for managing the quality activities of four test teams who also participate in fly-away assignments.
* Leads the quality analysis process and provides feedback, instructions, and metrics to waterfront test teams through the Site Program managers.
* Manages the testing status and regularly updates Quality Manager.
* Directs and mitigates highly complex issues with impactful solutions for minimal business impact;
* Oversees and leads regular meetings to cultivate effective working relationships between cross-functional groups for the development of action plans to address quality issues.
* Develops plans, training, and holds virtual conferences as needed to address quality issues.
* Manages the quality assurance trainings and ensures trainings meet quality requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
* 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
* Client experience requirements:
Between 6 to 15 years of relevant experience.
* Client education requirements: BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a relevant field;
Candidate must have an undergraduate degree from an ABET accredited program.
* 4 years of additional equivalent experience can be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
* Experience with test planning and execution.
* Experience in root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action and ensuring that corrective measures meet acceptable standards and documentation is compliant with requirements.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude. Preferred Requirements
* An active Secret Security Clearance.
* Strong understanding of quality standards and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
