We are seeking talented technical professionals to join our growing team and contribute to the success of large-scale Medicaid programs.
Job SummaryThe Technical Professional supporting Medicaid Management Systems will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS). This role involves collaboration with cross‑functional teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand technical requirements and system specifications.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MMIS.
- Ensure systems are compliant with federal and state regulatory requirements.
- Perform system testing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Provide technical support and training to end‑users.
- Assist in the development of system documentation, including user manuals and training materials.
- Participate in regular system audits and generate reports as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in supporting Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS).
- Knowledge of federal and state Medicaid regulations.
- Proficiency in database management and software development.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Advanced degree or certification in a related field.
- Experience with healthcare data interchange standards (e.g., HL7, HIPAA).
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or government services environment at the state and local level.
- Prior experience with software engineering and maintenance of legacy systems (Cobol, Java, Cold Fusion, .net)
- Prior experience with systems modernization, data warehousing, data lakes and/or cloud migrations.
- This is a contingent posting to support rolling recruitment across multiple future programs, with start dates starting anticipated in August 2026 - December 2027 timeframe.
- Roles are anticipated to be remote, with 10‑50% travel.
The likely salary range for this position is $128,039 - $173,229. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
