Job Description
A Technical Project Analyst will support the Project Manager and Technical Lead in a fast‑moving data platform at ECS’s Fairfax, VA office. The role is hybrid, requiring onsite work at least three days a week in Fairfax or Springfield, VA. Work occurs primarily in a Classified SCIF environment. The analyst will provide technical and programmatic support for data management, administrative and program development solutions for the United States government and Department of Defense.
The position requires U.S. citizenship, an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI and CI poly within 60 days, and IAT Level II certification or the ability to obtain it within 60 days.
- Orchestrate meetings and capture meeting minutes.
- Organize project kickoff and technical exchange meetings.
- Facilitate customer/partner engagements to recognize data needs.
- Assist the Project Manager with resolving blockers and aligning cross‑functional teams around project goals and technical requirements.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI and CI poly.
- System engineering background.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Technology related field.
- 1–2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Current IAT Level II certified or ability to obtain within 60 days.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, ticket tracking systems, SharePoint, etc.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Self‑starter who can work independently.
- Experience with tracking and reporting project metrics.
- Experience managing stakeholders and adapting to changing customer priorities.
- Experience with container technologies.
- Familiarity with system architecture.
- Quick learning of new technologies.
- Secret clearance and eligibility to obtain Top Secret.
- Ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- Security+ certification (or other IAT Level II certification).
- Knowledge of Agile, Kanban and/or JIRA.
- Familiarity with data management platforms and data pipeline management.
- Familiarity with cloud services.
- Understanding of data governance and how data is used within AI to drive decision‑making.
- Experience with integrating and troubleshooting distributed software systems.
- Experience with high‑level data analysis using Python, Bash, R, or similar.
- Experience with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
