At SERVISS, we deliver cutting-edge cybersecurity and IT solutions to government and commercial clients, with a mission to secure systems, data, and critical infrastructure through innovation and expertise. We don’t just deploy tools — we engineer mission platforms that become foundational systems of record for cyber operations, compliance automation, and national cyber readiness. From CISA CDM to DoD mission enclaves, our work shapes how government sees, governs, and defends its digital terrain.
As we expand our capabilities, we're seeking a highly skilled and talented senior cybersecurity systems engineer for Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) platforms.
SERVISS is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to serve as a lead architect and integrator for enterprise Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) platforms and mission-scale cyber visibility systems.
This role owns the engineering, architecture, and operationalization of CAASM platforms that become the authoritative source of truth for asset accountability, exposure visibility, and cyber risk governance across large federal enterprises. You will design and operate systems that answer questions like:
- What assets actually exist across this enterprise?
- Which systems are exposed, misconfigured, vulnerable, or non-compliant?
- Where is the attack surface expanding faster than the organization can govern it?
- What must be fixed first to reduce real mission risk?
- Architect, deploy, and operationalize enterprise CAASM platforms (Axonius, Armis, or equivalent) as mission systems of record
- Design ingestion pipelines from CMDBs, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, cloud, identity, network, and SaaS platforms
- Engineer normalization, correlation, and enrichment pipelines that turn telemetry into authoritative asset intelligence
- Design automated governance workflows that drive remediation, compliance enforcement, and cyber hygiene at scale
- Lead integration efforts using APIs, message buses, and data pipelines
- Define engineering standards, baselines, and platform hardening controls
- Mentor mid-level engineers and serve as technical authority for CAASM platform engineering
- Support mission operations, cyber governance reporting, and compliance automation programs
- Experience:
7+ years in cybersecurity systems engineering, platform engineering, or cyber infrastructure roles - Deep experience with enterprise security platforms (EDR, vulnerability, CMDB, IAM, cloud, network security)
- Hands-on engineering with CAASM, asset intelligence, or cyber visibility platforms
- Strong API integration and data engineering experience (REST, JSON, Python, Power Shell, pipelines, automation)
- Experience engineering platforms that operate as systems of record for compliance, risk, or mission operations
- Strong understanding of Federal cyber governance, NIST 800-53/171, RMF, CDM, and continuous monitoring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with asset management, CAASM applications, or enterprise security tools
- Experience and understanding of SIEMs common in the federal market (e.g. Elastic, Splunk) along with common sensor tools
- Familiarity with cloud-native services (AWS, Azure) and service APIs
- Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, GSEC, or vendor-specific CAASM certifications
- Exposure to data analytics or BI dashboards related to security telemetry
Our goal as an employer is simple yet profound: to create an environment where you can be your best self, pursue your passions, and enjoy the freedom to thrive both personally and professionally. Your success is our success, and we're committed to supporting you every step of the way.
- Be part of an exciting company with ground floor opportunities to include equity
