Clearance Required:

Minimum of a NACI Plateau GRP is seeking a highly experienced System Architect to support an Air Force platform. The architect will be responsible for reviewing system defects and requirements, assessing architectural risks, and designing scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions using industry-standard frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Review system defects and new requirements from a holistic perspective, considering impacts on performance, security, and maintainability.

* Assess solution risks to individual components and the overall system architecture, recommending mitigation strategies and alternative approaches.

* Assist developers with integration analysis to ensure seamless data flow and functionality across system components.

* Design and document system solutions using architectural frameworks and design patterns such as TOGAF and Microservices.

* Communicate technical designs to stakeholders, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with business needs and technical feasibility.
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree

* 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level solution design

* One of the following certifications: CASP+CE, CISSP, or CSSLP (IASE II)

* Expertise in system architecture, integration analysis, and risk assessment.

* Proficiency in TOGAF and Microservices-based design.

* Strong communication skills for technical design discussions with stakeholders.

* Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

* TOGAF Certification (preferred)

* 7+ years of experience in system architecture
