** The Opportunity
** We're supporting a highly regarded technology organization delivering critical solutions across the US Intelligence and National Security community, who are searching for a Linux Systems Administrator.

As demand across several long-standing programs continues to grow, they are looking to add a Linux Systems Administrator to their Fairfax, VA team. This is an opportunity to work within a large-scale enterprise environment supporting infrastructure that underpins some of the most technically challenging and important missions.

The role offers exposure to both traditional enterprise platforms and modern cloud-native technologies, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure problems while continuing to develop their technical skillset.

** Responsibilites
* ** Administering and supporting enterprise Linux environments
* Maintaining infrastructure across physical, virtual and cloud-based platforms
* Managing operating system upgrades, patching and security remediation
* Monitoring system performance, availability and capacity
* Troubleshooting hardware, operating system and network-related issues
* Supporting application deployments and infrastructure enhancements
* Building, testing and validating new server environments
* Working closely with engineering teams to improve automation, reliability and scalability
** What We're Looking For
*** Administering and supporting enterprise Linux environments

*** Kubernetes, Docker or containerized environments
* Cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures
* Puppet, Git Lab or other configuration management tools
* GPFS / IBM ESS
* Directory services administration
* Enterprise storage technologies including SAN and Fibre Channel
** Clearance Requirement
** Applicants must hold an active
