CACI is seeking TS/SCI Poly-cleared candidates for Spanish and Portuguese language professionals to join our prime contract supporting government operations in Fairfax, VA.

What You’ll Get to Do:

This role will enable you to utilize both your linguistic and analytical skills for mission-driven roles. You will translate and/or transcribe intermediate to advanced-level printed materials, including but not limited to: technical manuals, foreign language periodicals, and audio files into correct grammatical American English. You will work either as a lead or as part of a team of linguists supporting CONUS and/or OCONUS operations.

Education Required:

Bachelor's degree or its equivalent (4 years or more of on-the-job experience in the specific HLT field)

Testing requirements:

Approved testing, translation, and speaking, listening, and reading assessments

Years of related experience:

Minimum of three years of professional translation and/or interpretation experience within the past seven years, or a recently completed M.A. degree in translation and/or interpretation.

Work Location:

WMA - split between two locations in the WMA area

Language and level required:

Spanish and Portuguese up to 25% travel

Description:

• Accurately translate reports/texts in electronic and hard-copy formats, capturing facts, implications, and nuances.
• Interpret accurately, with proficiency in consecutive interpretation; rare occasions may require simultaneous interpretation. Knowledge of regional dialects is preferred.
• Review audio or internet materials and transcribe with high accuracy and clarity. Strong English writing skills are essential for report preparation.

Additional skills:

• Ability to summarize factual points and abstract concepts effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office, internet research, and basic web research skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including presenting briefings.

Tool Familiarity:

Microsoft Office suite & PowerPoint is required.

Pay Range:

The salary range is $86,600 - $181,800, influenced by location, experience, skills, and other factors. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, and education support. Learn more here.
