Join to apply for the Foreign Language Interpreter/Translation role at CACI International Inc. This is a fully deployable position supporting government operations in Fairfax, VA. The role is TS/SCI with Polygraph required and is a regular, full-time position with up to 25% travel (Outside Continental US).

This is a fully deployable role. You will be deployed for six to eight weeks at a time.

• Provide translation, transcription, and interpretation (simultaneous and consecutive) of source materials, both printed and audio, to correct grammatical American English.
• Translate and/or transcribe intermediate to advanced-level materials such as technical manuals and foreign language periodicals; process and update translated material databases; scan intercepted data for mission relevance.
• Support CONUS and/or OCONUS operations as a member of a linguist team or as a team lead; provide quality control for junior linguists.
• Prepare and update databases of translated material and report on translated material as required.

• Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated Polygraph.
• Ability to pass an advanced English test.
• Ability to score ILR Level 3 or higher on target language translation tests.
• Minimum three (3) years of professional experience conducting translation, transcription, and/or interpretation.
• In-depth knowledge of geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language geographical areas.
• Mastery of MS Office and internet research.
• Languages we are seeking must include both pairs:
  Kurdish/Arabic and Pashto/Dari.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Previous military experience.
• Understanding of one or more regional dialects.
• Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities.
