Our firm is growing, and we’re looking for an empathic, experienced personal injury attorney to help clients find justice and compensation for their injuries. You’ll handle the case file from start to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals. You should have excellent credentials, a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation along with trial case experience, and an authentic passion for helping people.

• Delegate tasks and manage a team of litigation paralegals, legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, and legal secretary
• Govern personal injury case files from inception to completion
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information
• Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
• Appear as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation

• Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative
• Three years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in wrongful death, medical malpractice, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is a necessity
• Bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required
• State Bar Association membership and state license to practice law is mandatory
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired
• Must be licensed to practice law in Virginia
• Must have litigated personal injury cases in Virginia General District AND Circuit Courts
• Must have at least 3 years of Personal Injury Experience
