Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from pre-trial investigation and discovery to trial and appeals. This role requires strong research skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of court procedures and document management.

Salary: $70,000 - 80,000/year

Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and organize legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence
  • Manage case files and maintain document management systems (physical and electronic)
  • Assist attorneys in all aspects of trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness files, and trial binders
  • Conduct legal and factual research using Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, PACER, and other legal research tools
  • Coordinate and attend depositions, hearings, and trials as needed
  • File legal documents with state and federal courts, both electronically (e-filing) and in person if required
  • Summarize depositions, discovery materials, medical records, and other case documents
  • Track court deadlines and maintain litigation calendars
  • Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel
  • Ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines in multiple jurisdictions
Requirements
  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree;
    Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
  • Experience: 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in civil litigation or a related practice area
  • Strong knowledge of litigation processes, including discovery, trial, and appellate procedures
  • Proficiency with legal research tools (Lexis, Westlaw) and litigation software (e.g., Relativity, Case Map, Trial Director, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
