Field Supervisor - Fairfax

Transdev in Fairfax County is hiring a Field Supervisor. The Field Supervisor oversees day‑to‑day field operations. We are seeking customer service‑oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

• Starting pay $26.15 /hr

• Vacation: applicable after 1 year of service
• Paid Sick Leave: 5 days effective July 1, 2026. Medical, dental & vision after 90 calendar days of employment for full‑time employees, life insurance, 401(k) retirement benefits, and company holidays.

• Manage Operators scheduling & staffing of routes.
• Provide leadership to build and maintain a strong team through effective communication, appraisal, training, and coaching.
• Perform Operator safety evaluation ride checks, investigate and respond to situations, resolve operational issues.
• Read maps, interpret transit operating rules and policies.
• Other duties as required.

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Preferred minimum of 2 years of relevant leadership experience
• Ability to secure a Class B CDL with a P endorsement.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
