Registered Nurse; RN Operating Room

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is currently hiring experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses to support our patients.
Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign-on & relocation bonuses.

Work Schedule:
Full-time, day shift:
Three 12hr shifts per week.

Schedule breakdown: 12-hour shifts (6:45am to 7:15pm) with variable days off + on-call requirement (Night, Weekend & Holiday). Scrub and circulating experience preferred.

We have 14 OR suites offering a comprehensive range of surgical specialties, includingortho, spine, robotic, retina and bariatrics.

We perform over 10,000 surgical cases annually using some ofthe most advanced technologies such as Stryker Mako Robotic-Assisted Joint Procedures, Globus Excelsius Robotic Spine Navigation Platform, Orth Align Precision Navigation and Medtronic Stealth Station Navigation.

Operating Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting multiple, sometimes conflicting, data sets and synthesizing their interrelationships.
• Formulates individualized plans of care based upon assessment findings and interpreting trends in patient populations to achieve best practice.
• Supports and empowers patients and families as they progress through the healthcare continuum from health promotion to end of life decisions.
• Advocates for patients' rights from the patient/family perspective and provides counsel and acts as a resource to resolve issues.
• Anticipates ethical, spiritual, and cultural needs of patients/families and assists staff in assessing patients' learning needs.

Operating Room Registered Nurse
Requirements:

• Experience:Requires a minimum of1 yearof direct Operating Room (OR) experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Education:BSN or ADN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• License:Must be licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
• Certification:Basic Life Support with American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience:

• Scrub and circulating experience strongly preferred
