PRN PACU RN – Registered Nurse

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for an experienced PACU RN for a PRN (as needed schedule) covering 0545 to 1815 with on‑call shifts required. The hospital’s Pre‑op unit has 20 bays operating 0545–1815 daily and the PACU has 26 bays operating 0730–2230 daily Monday‑Friday. Services include spine, joint replacement, retina, breast, gynecology, general, and bariatric weight‑loss surgery, with advanced technology such as Stryker Mako, Globus Excelsius, Orth Align, and Medtronic Stealth Station.

The units are covered with on‑call coverage 2000‑0730 Monday‑Friday, weekend, and holidays.

• One year of PACU or critical‑care nursing (ICU or ED) experience is required.
• BSN from an accredited nursing school. If an RN holds an associate’s degree (ADN), a BSN must be completed within five years of hiring.
• RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Two or more years of PACU experience, including pre‑op, Phase 1, and Phase 2 recovery.
