Registered Nurse; RN GYN PACU

Our Women’s PACU is seeking an experienced PACU Nurse for a full-time position averaging 36 hours per week.

• 12‑hour shifts, 1–2 weekend shifts per 6‑week schedule
• On‑call requirement: staff covers 600–2330 with night shift and a rotating on‑call schedule of 2 weeks at a time, approximately 2–3 times per year

Unit: 32‑bay Pre‑operative and PACU department caring for patients before and after their General Gynecology, Gynecological Oncology, Urological Gynecology, and Robotic procedures. We care for 30 patients a day on average, 75% of which go home the same day from the PACU. Acuity ranges from benign procedures to extensive oncology cases.

• 1 year of PACU or Critical Care (ICU/ED) nursing experience
• Basic Life Support certification through AHA
• Active RN licensure in Virginia or eligible for licensure
• BSN from an accredited nursing school; if holding an ADN, must complete a BSN within 5 years of employment start date
