Registered Nurse; RN) Labor and Delivery- Night Shift

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor and Delivery Unit. Full-time Night Shift: 3x12 hour shifts per week. Additional scheduling requirements will include weekends/holidays/on call hours | Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Available.

Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Responsibilities:

Coordinates care across disciplines, ensuring effective transitions.

Evaluates care processes and adjusts plans based on patient progress.

Makes clinical decisions based on data, experience, and intuition.

Fosters cooperation and respect among clinical disciplines.

Guides staff in assessing patient learning needs and outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Work schedule:Full-time Night Shift: 7:00pm-7:00am, 3x12 hour per week. | 16 hours of call in 6-week period |One major one minor holiday | 4 weekend shifts in a 6-week period

Education:BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Experience
:
Required 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, for Critical Care units, 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.

Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start | For Critical Care Units:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - Within 6 Months | For Pediatric Units:
Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Within 6 Months | For Infusion Center Units:
Obtain chemo card- within 3 months of hire

Licensure:Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license
