Position: Head of Revenue/Account Manager NG911

This position will drive direct sales into major and territory accounts by crafting and implementing strategic account plans passionate about attaining broad deployments of their Public Safety products and services. The candidate will develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers in accounts and with channel partners and bring to bear these during the sales process. The position will also coordinate with appropriate internal groups to generate and deliver winning Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work.

Strong domain expertise in Next Generation 9-1-1 is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Generates, coordinates, and supervises closure of sales opportunities for Emergency Services IP network (ESInet) and 9-1-1 customer premise opportunities.
  • Builds and maintains winning strategic sales plans, utilizing multiple prospecting techniques to include cold calling, networking, market research, and strategic positioning.
  • Attends Public Safety trade shows and conferences, demonstrating the company products and supporting the corporate messaging.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to influence customer’s technology platform decisions and develop preference and dedication for their Public Safety products.
  • Assist in RFP and RFI responses, providing bring together strategies, competitive insights, price-to-win analysis, win themes and customer hot buttons.
  • Attend customer meetings, make presentations to individuals and groups.
  • Effectively manage P&L for various projects and budget forecasting.
  • Develops positive relationships with key PSAP decision makers and map all influencers within opportunities, crafting and updating Capture Plans for Top Opportunities.
  • Ability to consultatively identify and position end-to-end solutions to affect the closing of new sales opportunities.
  • Develop strong presence in territory as a spokesperson for Public Safety by becoming involved in industry activities/organizations.
  • Must be willing to travel 40% to 60% of the time.
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of experience selling into public safety PSAP and law enforcement data fusion environments.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing a P&L in a dynamic environment.
  • A deep rolodex of pre-existing contacts at the City, State and PSAP Director level within the region.
  • Knowledge of consulting agencies and independent contractors that work, advise or otherwise do business in the public safety field in the region.
  • Specialist subject matter knowledge of Public Safety Call Handling and Computer Aided Dispatch workflows and technology in the industry.
  • Understanding of ESINET implementation efforts and how those impact future business development opportunities and leads.
