SUMMARY:

A market-leading provider of International Logistics services in Fairfax, Virginia seeks a highly motivated Sales and Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth and implementing innovative strategies to identify new business opportunities.

As a leader in the logistics industry, we have established a reputation for delivering exceptional services for US government projects, including disaster relief, global health programs, infrastructure development, and theater contingency operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading an inside sales and operations team in a 3PL Freight Brokerage /Freight Forwarding setting
, as well as strong knowledge of the industry. With your expertise, you will play a key role in driving progress in the world's most critical supply chains.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ Years of Management experience leading an inside sales and operational team within a
    Freight Brokerage /Freight Forwarding environment
  • Have experience as a member of upper management within a
    3PL company
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Find new leads and onboard key accounts, with an emphasis on, but not limited to, US government branches and contractors.
  • Create a strong sales strategy and lead your team in identifying new business opportunities while maintaining current relationships.
  • Oversee long and short-term processes to ensure that customer demand is met.
  • Build and train a capable sales team to help the company grow.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and leadership to identify areas for growth and improvement.
  • Create a strategic sales plan for new client acquisition.
  • Manage RFP bids from submission to award.
  • Drive revenue growth
  • Capability to sell large-scale, mission-critical business solutions
