• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate, in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the healthcare location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and patients while upholding the policies of the healthcare location.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on observations, incidents, and patrol activities as required by Allied Universal and the site.
• Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and the healthcare location management.

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must possess an armed guard card or license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
