Fitness Specialist

Location: Woodleigh Chase by Erickson Senior Living

Role: Fitness Specialist – teaching fitness classes and personal training. You will assess, monitor, and develop individual fitness programs for residents.

Compensation: Starting at $18 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, either 8:00 am – 4:30 pm or 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.

• Perform fitness assessments including vital signs.
• Prescribe an appropriate exercise program covering flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training.
• Educate and evaluate members on proper exercise techniques.
• Assist with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe fitness area for members.
• Build strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging physical activity.

• Associate’s degree in Health Education or related field required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Experience evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
• Minimum of 1-year related work experience.
