At North Bay Health, we are seeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist (Nocturnist) to join our highly regarded and collaborative inpatient care team in Northern California. Role

and Responsibilities
  • Position Type:
    Full‑time; 10 shifts per month
  • Shifts:

    Night coverage only (Nocturnist role); 12‑hour shifts
  • Patient Population:
    Adult inpatient general medicine
  • EMR:
    Cerner
  • Hospital Setting:
    Community‑based with strong tertiary affiliations
Education and Qualifications
  • Education:

    MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Training:
    Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency
  • Certification:
    Board Certified or Board Eligible (New Graduates Only) in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Licensure:
    Valid and unrestricted California medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience:

    At least one (1) year of hospitalist experience preferred, though recent graduates will also be considered
Compensation and Perks
  • Shift Rate: $2,520 per 12‑hour night shift (6 PM to 6 AM OR 7 PM to 7 AM) coverage.
