At North Bay Health, the Occupational Therapist works under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Services Supervisor and Manager. In this role, the OT will specialize in Hand Therapy, providing individualized care based on thorough evaluations and physician referrals. The therapist plans and implements tailored treatment programs in alignment with occupational therapy principles, collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Education& Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
- Current California Occupational Therapy license required.
- National Board Certification (NBCOT) required.
- Preferred:
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), Physical Agent Modalities (PAM), Advanced Practitioner certification in Hand Therapy. - Applicants may be considered with an active Occupational Therapy license.
- Current AHA or BLS certification required.
- Preferred:
One year of experience in an acute hospital or outpatient hand clinic setting; new graduates will be considered.
- Strong clinical skills in occupational therapy evaluation and treatment.
- Ability to provide care across all patient age groups:
Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric. - In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing occupational therapy practice.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to engage effectively with patients, families, physicians, and colleagues.
- Strong critical‑thinking skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

- Hourly Salary Range:
Min $60.97 – Max $77.07 (based on years of experience). - 10% per diem differential included in the salary range.
