Minimum Experience
Minimum of one year in business office setting with data entry keying experience.

Natureof Work
Assists patients who present to the window to pay their bill or with billing questions. Responsible for Cash Drawer, and the balancing thereof. Data entry into Medhost of Release Claims Status report daily. Responsible for Blue Cross Green Bar, ensuring the rep receives the account to review any denials and that the patient is billed the appropriate amount, per the EOB.
Processes Credit Card transactions. Reviews EOBs for adjustments and/or payments, routing questions to the Team Lead Billing Specialist or Business Office Manager.
