Compensation We Offer
  • The initial compensation for this position ranges from $77,142.00 to $94,867.00 per year.
  • Hiring incentive of $3,500.00 (certain payout conditions may apply).
  • Salary is dependent on experience above the minimum qualifications and internal equity considerations.
  • Salary may vary if you reside in a different location.
  • 8% License Differential for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, and select Peer Certifications.
  • 7.5% Bilingual Differential for qualified positions.

Responsibilities
  • Complete assessments and evaluations that are culturally relevant to youth, adults and families.
  • Develop effective treatment plans with clear, measurable strategies tailored to individual and family strengths.
  • Provide clinical leadership throughout all service phases – engagement, stabilization, planning, intervention and transition.
  • Record and collect clinical information reflecting individual and family input while maintaining accountability for risks.
  • Coordinate integration of Functional Behavior Analysis into overall service plans with families, referral sources, and community resources.
  • Develop and refine behavior and risk‑specific reactive and proactive safety plans.
  • Monitor effectiveness and efficiency of interventions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in conflict management and team mediation.
  • Meet revenue and productivity standards.
  • Maintain effective personal organizational systems for paperwork and information management.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Education and/or Experience
  • Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Social Work, Marriage Family Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • One (1) year of supervised clinical experience with children or adults.
  • Registered with the BBS or BOP.
  • Licensed according to California state law or become licensed within the designated timeframe.
  • Career ladder opportunity for individuals within 6 months of graduating with a master’s degree; offered as an exempt Clinical Professional Trainee.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of clinical experience with adults or children.
  • Training in domestic violence, child abuse, trauma, with competency to maintain current knowledge of state, county and local laws.
  • Experience and skills with culturally diverse populations.
  • Bilingual communication skills in another language.
Physical Requirements
  • Must pass an initial physical abilities test (PATS) and be certified in crisis intervention techniques within the first 30 days and annually.
  • Must remain physically fit to keep clients self‑safe.
  • Required tasks may include standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, speaking, hearing, tasting, smelling.
  • Move quickly, run, drive a car; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Human Performance Evaluation Test at designated company clinic if employed at Crisis Stabilization Unit.
