THE OPPORTUNITYYolo Community Care Continuum (YCCC) is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in California's Central Valley serving the needs of low-income individuals with mental health challenges. We are dedicated to providing quality, client driven services with respect and the belief in the capacity to heal.
YCCC is searching for a dynamic and compassionate Executive Director to lead and oversee the organization's operations, strategic initiatives, and presence in the community. Through mindful partnerships, innovative programs, and ongoing advocacy, the Executive Director, under the direction of the Board, will maintain and create services to foster stability and health for agency stakeholders. The Executive Director works closely with the Board of Directors to ensure that YCCC’s mission and goals are protected and promoted by effective program management, fiscal responsibility, community partnerships, and resource development.
This multi-faceted role requires complex non-profit management; willingness to collaborate and learn agency-specific demands; and shared values of respect, transparency, and commitment.

QUALIFICATIONSThe Ideal Candidate will have:
- In-depth understanding of CA mental health programs, policies, and challenges.
- Proficiency in understanding complex documents including contracts, grants and budgets.
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a diverse team, and set and communicate a clear vision.
- A strong understanding of nonprofit budgeting, financial oversight, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional verbal, written, relationship‑building skills.
- Proven track record in fund development, grant evaluation and oversight, resource development, and financial management.
- Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Counseling, Social Work or Business, or a related field or equivalent experience as determined by the selection committee (Licensed or licensed eligible preferred.)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within affordable housing, mental health, or a nonprofit organization.
- Proven track record in fund development, grant writing and oversight, resource development, and financial management.
