JOB SUMMARY / OVERVIEW

The Dental Services Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating,and supporting departmentoperations andstaff on a day-to-day basis to ensure delivery of customer focused, efficient,quality patient careis provided to patients.

The Dental Services Manager will create and lead a synchronized environment, rich with information and communication, that streamlines patient experience, provides support and direct supervision of staff while maximizing the use of health center resources. Provides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations. This position requires the flexibility to travel from site to site as needed.

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS/TRAINING

Education:

Associate’s degree in health administrationor related field or minimum oftwoyearsprogressive related experience.

Experience/Lived

Experience:

Must have demonstrated supervisory experience. Must havedentalfront office and/ordental assistant experience. Work experience in acommunityhealthcenter environment preferred. Computer and data entry skills required. Experience working with culturally diverse populations.

Special Skills/Training:
Strong verbal and written communication skills required;
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required. Must have strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve. Strong organizational, planning, and delegating skills required. Current

CPR certification required. Drivers License Required.
