Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse

We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Fairfield, CA. This role is ideal for nurses passionate about delivering high‑quality, family‑centered neonatal care in an acute care hospital setting.

$71.42/hr – $71.42/hr

The NICU RN will provide safe, compassionate, and evidence‑based care while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary care teams and patient families.

• Deliver safe, effective, and high‑quality nursing care to neonatal patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
• Provide care aligned with Relationship‑Based Care and professional nursing practice standards
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed
• Administer medications and safely operate NICU equipment
• Educate and support patients’ families regarding care and treatment plans
• Advocate for patients and support ethical, culturally competent care
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
• Ensure accurate documentation and safe patient handoffs
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

• AHA BLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program (ADN or BSN accepted)
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to meet physical demands of bedside nursing
